Welcome!

Welcome to the Maryland Horse Council's Open Forum for Charles County residents.  We'll be using this space to update you on happenings in your county.  Feel free to post here in the comments section or e-mail your county representative Karen LeValley (karen@levalleyhome.com) with any important news.

  1. Hello All!
I got a request from Equitrekking to write a blog for them about a favorite Maryland trail or place to ride. I thought this would be perfect for one of our members to do! So I'm forwarding along to this group first to see if anyone would be interested in writing it themselves. OR if you could post this to your County Forum to see if anyone from your county might be interested. Below is the information:
    From Equitrekking:
We are making it a goal to have trail riding articles from every state on Equitrekking.com as a part of the 50 State Project (see Darley's blog at http://www.equitrekking.com/articles/entry/equitrekking-50-state-trail-riding-project-usa-horse-trails/ ) to serve as a resource for people who want to head out and ride. Would you or someone from your organization be interested in writing a guest post on a favorite area trail or place that you like to ride? While we don't pay for guest posts, we can include your bio, link to your organization's website and spread the word via social media. Blogs should be between 300 - 1000 words and we'd love to have it in the next 3 weeks.
